  • Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma

    The Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma’s mission is to lead national efforts to reduce death and disability following injury to children less than 18 years old. Life-threatening injury is the No. 1 killer of kids in America. Nearly 10,000 children die each year – more than all other causes combined. The Childress Institute invests resources in research, education and awareness to improve the treatment for critically injured children in the U.S. The Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center was established through the generosity of Richard and Judy Childress.

    What had long been just a dream and a vision for Richard Childress became a reality in the fall of 2004 with the opening of Childress Vineyards. Nestled the gateway of the Yadkin Valley andonly minutes from Richard Childress Racing, Childress Vineyards is located on 65 acres of fertile farmland in Lexington, N.C. To help create some of the finest wines in the country, Childress has hired some of the best people in the wine industry. Come and taste for yourself.


    Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation

    Congressional Sportsmen's FoundationThe Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation has maintained a singleness of purpose that has guided the organization to become the most respected and trusted sportsmen’s organization in the political arena. CSF’s mission is to work with Congress, governors, and state legislatures to protect and promote hunting, recreational fishing and shooting and trapping. The unique and collective force of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus (CSC), the Governors Sportsmen’s Caucus (GSC) and the National Assembly of Sportsmen’s Caucuses (NASC), working closely with CSF, serves as an unprecedented network of pro-sportsmen legislators that advance the agenda of America’s hunters and anglers

    RCR Graphics Center

    The RCR Graphics Center is an in-house full service design and production facility on the RCR campus. A partnership in November 2010 established Roland DGA as the exclusive printer manufacturer for the RCR Graphics Center. The RCR Graphics Center provides the graphics for all of the RCR racing fleet and has commercial service capabilities to supply any company's graphics needs, as well.

    Nestled in the rolling hills of Lexington, N.C., Sapona Ridge Country Club offers members fine and casual dining, Jr. Olympic pool, tennis courts and an 18-hole Ellis Maples designed golf course surrounded by wooded hills and ponds. Newly acquired in 2012, Richard Childress and the Sapona Ridge staff strive to maintain the highest quality of service and extend the southern hospitality to all members and guests.

    The National Rifle Association of America (NRA) is an American non-profit 501(c)(4) civil rights organization which advocates for the protection of the Second Amendment of the United States Bill of Rights and the promotion of firearm ownership rights as well as marksmanship, firearm safety, and the protection of hunting and self-defense in the United States. The NRA sponsors firearm safety training courses, as well as marksmanship events featuring shooting skill and sports. According to a 1999 Fortune survey, lawmakers and congressional staffers considered NRA the most influential lobbying group. Its political activity is based on the principle that gun ownership is a civil liberty protected by the Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights, and it calls itself the oldest continuously operating civil rights organization in the United States. According to its website, the NRA has 4.3 million members.
