Hamburger Helper® to Debut Paint Scheme, Sponsor Turn 4 at Bristol
WELCOME, N.C. (August 20, 2009) – Hamburger Helper® and Richard Childress Racing’s No. 33 team are partnering up for a promotion at Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend. The “When Clint Wins, You Win” promotion will give 33,000 fans a free box of Hamburger Helper skillet meal if Bowyer is able to win the sold out Sharpie 500 this Saturday night.
In addition to being featured as the primary sponsor of Bowyer’s Chevrolet for the 500-lap race, Hamburger Helper will also sponsor Bristol’s infamous Turn 4. Bristol’s high banked turn will be referred to as “High 4” in honor of Hamburger Helper’s Helping Hand.
If Bowyer is able to pick up the win, the first 33,000 fans that register on HamburgerHelper.com will be able to sign up to receive a coupon for a free box of Hamburger Helper. The offer is limited to one winner per household.
“The entire Hamburger Helper team is excited to partner with Bristol on such a great promotion for the fans,” says Beth Brady, Vice President of Marketing, Hamburger Helper. “We’d love nothing more than to have Clint get in the Chase and feed his fans all at the same time.”
As part of their partnership with Bristol Motor Speedway, over 14,000 fans seated above the “High 4” turn will receive Hamburger Helper foam hands that they will be encouraged to wave on lap 33 to cheer on the No. 33 team. Additionally, all Bristol Motor Speedway “Helpers,” from ushers to gate and parking attendants, will wear Hamburger Helper foam hands as they greet fans throughout the weekend’s festivities.
“I’m really excited to get to Bristol and drive the Hamburger Helper Chevrolet,” said Bowyer. “It’s a really cool paint scheme. Bristol is one of my favorite tracks. I’ve been fortunate to have some pretty good runs there, but I’m still looking for my first Cup Series win there. It would be awesome to pull that off this weekend. It would help us with getting in the Chase, and it’s pretty cool that the fans can cash in on it, too.”
