RCR Chassis No. 34

This is the car that, on Feb. 15, 1998, took Dale Earnhardt and the No. 3 GM Goodwrench Service Plus team to victory in the Daytona 500. It was Earnhardt's twentieth attempt in "The Great American Race" and the first for RCR Chassis No. 34. Though the race finished under caution, Earnhardt led the most laps (107 of 200 including the final 61) and had the fastest lap of the race (190.006 mph, 47.367 seconds on lap 183). The team also won the second Twin 125 race that year. The car was inducted into Daytona USA the next day where it was put on display for one year and then returned to RCR, where it went directly into the original museum.
