Mike Skinner took the No. 3 GM Goodwrench Service Chevrolet C/K 1500 to the first race victory and first championship in the inaugural season of the NASCAR SuperTruck Series in 1995. After that first victory at Tucson (Ariz.) Raceway Park on Feb. 5, the team earned seven more victories, nine pole positions, and 17 top-5 and 18 top-10 finishes during the 20-race schedule. Skinner would earn eight more victories, five more pole positions, and a third-place finish in the 1996 point standings before moving to the NASCAR Winston Cup Series for Richard Childress Racing in 1997.
