He led 46 laps and completed 99.6 percent of his laps, earning finishes of 15th or better in each appearance. In October 2011 he finished second and in July 2011 Dillon was running second when, with just 15 laps remaining, the hood of the No. 3 NRA/Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet flipped across the windshield of his Silverado, causing the team to make an unscheduled green-flag pit stop that resulted in a 14th-place finish. In his 2010 Camping World Truck Series appearance at the track, Dillon earned the pole award, led nine laps and finished ninth. His lone ARCA start at the track he finished 15th after starting 34th in 2009.

AUSTIN DILLON QUOTES:
What do you think about Kentucky Speedway?

“I love Kentucky Speedway. It’s always been a really good track for me and is one of my favorite places to visit. In my last two Camping World Truck Series races there, I was running in second-place and in position to contend for the win. We finished second last time, and the time before that the hood flipped up and I had to make an unscheduled pit stop under green-flag conditions. That race really made me feel like I needed redemption at Kentucky Speedway. It’s a great track and it suits my driving style. RCR has a really strong 1.5-mile program, and I’m looking to gain some of the points we lost road course racing last weekend.”
