Richard Childress Racing Participating in Two-Day Charlotte Motor Speedway Test
RCR entries recorded the top-three fastest speeds among the 16 cars participating, with Jeff Burton leading the way.
Richard Childress Racing’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams are spending Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 11 and 12 testing the 2013 Chevrolet SS at Charlotte Motor Speedway in preparation for the upcoming season. During the two-day test session, teams focused on their intermediate-track package.
In the Tuesday morning portion of the two-day test, RCR entries recorded the top-three fastest speeds among the 16 cars participating, with Jeff Burton leading the way (190.833 mph), followed by Kevin Harvick (190.215 mph) and Austin Dillon (189.934 mph). Dillon is assisting the No. 27 team in Paul Menard’s absence.
The information gathered will be used in preparation for the 2013 season.
