BB&T and RCR
BB&T is in the third season of its partnership with Richard Childress Racing. This season, BB&T is the major associate sponsor of the No. 33 Chevrolet that Bowyer drives in the Sprint Cup Series. BB&T will be the primary sponsor in 10 races plus the Sprint All-Star race. The BB&T Chevrolet has visited victory lane twice in the Nationwide Series and once in the Sprint Cup Series. In addition, Clint Bowyer won the 2008 Nationwide Series Championship while driving the BB&T Chevrolet. In 2007, BB&T sponsored a partial NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule with Bowyer in RCR’s flagship No. 2 Chevrolet. That role evolved into a 25-race schedule in 2008, in addition to two races on the No. 07 Chevy in the Sprint Cup Series.
