Anthony Alfredo joins Richard Childress Racing for select NASCAR Xfinity races in the No. 21 Chevrolet Camaro, under the guidance of crew chief Andy Street, for the 2020 NASCAR season.
In 2019, Alfredo competed in select NASCAR Truck Series races, collecting two top-10 finishes during the year.
During the 2018 NASCAR season, Alfredo competed full-time in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, collecting one win at South Boston Speedway, one pole award, four top-five and nine top-10 finishes. He finished the season fifth in the championship point standings. Alfredo was also named as a member of the 2018 NASCAR Next class.
Alfredo competed full-time in the CARS Late Model Stock Tour in 2017, finishing a close second in the championship standings after securing two wins, eight top-five and 11 top-10 finishes.
Andy has been part of the RCR family for the last 16 years, serving as an engineer in a variety of departments; chassis shop, suspension shop, design department, R&D team, Cup teams, and NXS teams.
Andy received his degree in mechanical engineering from UNC Charlotte in 2003, and also took time getting his associate degree at Forsyth Technical Community College.
Being part of several marque wins for RCR, Andy?s favorite ones were the 2006 Loudon win with Kevin Harvick, 2007 DAYTONA 500 win with Kevin Harvick, and the 2010 Loudon win with Clint Bowyer.
Born and raised in Kernersville, NC, Andy currently resides in Lexington, NC, with his wife Lauren, and their daughter, Addison.
