Brandon Jones traded his No. 33 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet for a shopping cart leading into the Pocono Raceway weekend. Jones participated in a supermarket sweep put together by his sponsor, Anderson’s Maple Syrup, in which the NASCAR XFINITY Series driver had two minutes to race around a local Giant food store and collect as much food as he could.
All food collected would be paid for by Anderson’s Maple Syrup and donated to the Walter & Mary Alice Strunk Food Pantry of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Working with Demetrius Morales, a representative of the Walter & Mary Alice Strunk Food Pantry, Jones was able to collect $750.94 worth of food to donate.
