Richard Childress Racing welcomed two partners back to the organization this week, as Anderson’s Maple Syrup and Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff returned to the team’s NASCAR XFINITY Series program.
Anderson’s Maple Syrup
Anderson’s Maple Syrup returns to RCR with Brandon Jones and the No. 33 XFINITY Series team, serving as a primary sponsor for select races. The family-owned brand will also serve as an associate sponsor on the No. 33 Chevrolet Camaro throughout the 2017 season.
Jones enters his second full season in the XFINITY Series on the heels of a 10th-place finish in the driver point standings after earning a spot in the inaugural Chase.
“I look forward to becoming a part of the Anderson’s Maple Syrup family,” said Jones. “I love that Anderson’s is a high-quality, all-natural product made here in the United States. I am eager to represent such a family brand and to have them on our No. 33 Chevrolet Camaro this season. I hope I can sweeten the deal with a trip to Victory Lane.”

This is Anderson’s Maple Syrup’s second venture with RCR, as the third-generation company was featured on the No. 2 Chevrolet Camaro for two XFINITY Series events in 2014.
“We look forward to having the Anderson’s Maple Syrup brand adorn the No. 33 Camaro. Reuniting with another family-owned business and legendary team like RCR, and sharing our product with the millions of NASCAR fans, is exciting for our company,” said Steve Anderson, president of Anderson’s Maple Syrup. “We look forward to working with RCR in 2017 and know that Brandon Jones will be a great spokesman for our family brand.”
Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff
In addition, Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff has once again partnered with RCR, this time serving as a primary sponsor on Daniel Hemric’s No. 21 Chevrolet Camaro in the XFINITY Series. Hemric, a contender for the Sunoco Rookie of the Year award, is eager to carry the Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff colors on the No. 21 Chevrolet, starting at Daytona International Speedway.
“They have a successful history in NASCAR and we hope to continue that during the 2017 XFINITY Series season,” said Hemric. “It means a lot that Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff has the confidence in our team to get the job done on and off the racetrack.”
Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff first partnered with RCR in the XFINITY Series during the 2014 season, and are ready for more success in 2017.
“After our success in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2016, Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff was looking for a competitive team and driver in the NASCAR XFINITY Series for the 2017 season,” said Dave Savoca, President of Smokey Mountain Chew. “We feel like Richard Childress Racing and Daniel Hemric are an ideal fit for our brand. We partnered with RCR and drivers Brian Scott and Brendan Gaughan in the NASCAR XFINITY Series in 2014, and saw measurable growth in our brand through our relationship with this top-notch organization. We look forward to that continued success in 2017 both on and off the track.”
