Team 313 Finish in Second in Annual NASCAR Fitness Challenge

The second annual NASCAR Fitness Challenge Team Ride powered by Lily Diabetes took place on Wednesday afternoon at the in front of the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina. This year, pit crew members from Richard Childress Racing and Germain Racing combined their efforts into Team 313, comprised of Greg Powell, Tyler Rader and Paul Swan.

The three pit crew members rode a stationary bike against other NASCAR crew members for the chance at a $15,000 charitable donation. Team 313 competed to benefit the Gracie Foundation and the Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma.

Before the competition kicked off, Ty Dillon had some words of encouragement for the boys about to hit the bike.

The team had to work their way through multiple rounds, advancing each time and staying in contention for the overall win.

In the end, Team 313 advanced all the way to the final round of the competition and finished second overall. While not a victory, it was an impressive effort by Powell, Rader and Swan.
