Tyler Reddick has qualified for the first NASCAR Xfinity Series Dash 4 Cash event of 2019, taking place this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway, thanks to his runner-up finish at Texas Motor Speedway.
Reddick ran in the top five for the majority of Saturday’s race at Texas and was the top-finishing Xfinity Series regular in his No. 2 Nationwide Children’s Hospital Chevrolet Camaro.
“It feels awesome to qualify for the Xfinity Series Dash 4 Cash event at Bristol Motor Speedway,” said Reddick.
“This is my first time qualifying for the program since 2017, so I’m excited to get back to it and have a shot at the $100,000 bonus,” he said. “I consider Bristol to be one of the tougher tracks we visit on the circuit, but I’m confident my No. 2 team and RCR can help prepare me for the challenge.”
Reddick is no stranger to the high banks of Bristol Motor Speedway, scoring two top-10 finishes in three Xfinity Series starts at the famed half-mile track. He also has two Gander Outdoor Truck Series starts at Bristol, earning one top-10 and a pole award back in 2016.
Reddick will face off against Christopher Bell, Chase Briscoe and Michael Annett in this weekend’s Dash 4 Cash at Bristol Motor Speedway. The Dash 4 Cash contenders earned their spots from being one of the top-four-finishing Xfinity Series regulars in Saturday’s My Bariatric Solutions 300, the Dash 4 Cash qualifier at Texas Motor Speedway. The highest-finishing driver of the four at Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend will receive the $100,000 bonus.
