Anthony Alfredo Finishes Fourth at Homestead-Miami Speedway


Anthony Alfredo finished fourth in the Hooters 250 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Saturday.

Alfredo’s top five finish added 36 points to his season total.

Alfredo started in 21st position. The first-year driver has two top-10 finishes in his career.

The Ridgefield, Connecticut native began the race two spots behind his career mark of 18.8, but finished six places ahead of his career average of 10.

Alfredo’s fourth-place finish was against 37 other drivers. The race endured five cautions and 25 caution laps. There were 18 lead changes.

Harrison Burton secured the win in the race, followed by Austin Cindric in the No. 2 spot and Noah Gragson in third place. Alfredo took fourth ahead of Dale Earnhardt Jr’s finish in fifth place.
