PORTLAND, OREGON (June 3, 2023) – Sheldon Creed brought the speed to Portland International Raceway, clinching his first NASCAR Xfinity Series pole win. Creed’s qualifying time of 74.111 and average speed of 95.694 was just enough to place him up front leading the pack in Saturday’s race in RCR’s No. 2 Whelen Chevrolet. Teammate Austin Hill starts eight in the event in the No. 21 Bennett Chevrolet.
Saturday’s 147-mile race will mark Creed’s 50th career start in the Xfinity Series. Watch Creed lead the pack past the green flag on the 1.97 mile course that contains 12 turns at 4:30 p.m. ET on FS1.
