Bass Pro Shops is North America's premier outdoor and conservation company. Founded in 1972 when avid young angler Johnny Morris began selling tackle out of his father's liquor store in Springfield, Missouri, today the company provides customers with unmatched offerings spanning premier destination retail, outdoor equipment manufacturing, world-class resort destinations and more. In 2017 Bass Pro Shops acquired Cabela's to create a "best-of-the-best" experience with superior products, dynamic locations and outstanding customer service. Bass Pro Shops also operates White River Marine Group, offering an unsurpassed collection of industry-leading boat brands, and Big Cedar Lodge, America's Premier Wilderness Resort. Under the visionary conservation leadership of Johnny Morris, Bass Pro Shops is a national leader in protecting habitat and introducing families to the outdoors and has been named by Forbes as "one of America's Best Employers." Bass Pro Shops has a long relationship with NASCAR, dating back to 1998.

RCR’s long-standing partnership with America’s premier outdoor and conservation company first began in 1998 with an associate sponsorship of RCR’s No. 3 Chevrolet with legendary driver Dale Earnhardt. Over the years, The Bass Pro Shops brand has been featured on a variety of RCR Chevrolets, including NASCAR Cup Series entries driven by Austin Dillon, Kevin Harvick and Kerry Earnhardt. The relationship has also included races with Bass Pro Shops’ brand Cabela’s with Ryan Newman. Bass Pro Shops has played a role in RCR wins and championships in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Truck Series and ARCA Racing Series.

For Austin Dillon, Bass Pro Shops is truly family. His career began as a child when he and his brother Ty tested a bandolero car at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The sponsor for those first races? Bass Pro Shops. Throughout every step of his career, including his early days racing dirt Late Models around the country, Bass Pro Shops has played a starring role. Major career milestones, including a NASCAR Truck Series Championship, a NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship, and wins in the NASCAR Cup Series, have all been with the support of Johnny Morris and Bass Pro Shops store managers, store associates and Tracker dealers.

RCR’s relationship with America’s premier outdoor and conservation company has led to many great times in the woods and on the water. It has also served as a vessel to bring awareness to the importance of conservation.

There is a permanent display located within the Richard Childress Racing Museum in Welcome, North Carolina dedicated to wildlife and outdoor conservation. The display was installed by Bass Pro Shops representatives and showcases many of the animal trophies that Childress has taken over the years. Organizations actively involved in the conservation of the nation’s wildlife and natural resources, such as The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, The North Carolina Wildlife Habitat Foundation, the National Wild Turkey Federation and Ducks Unlimited, are also prominently featured in the display.
