Founded in 1911 in Detroit, Chevrolet is now one of the world's largest car brands, available in 75 countries with nearly 4 million cars and trucks sold in 2019. Chevrolet models include electric and fuel-efficient vehicles that feature engaging performance, design that makes the heart beat, passive and active safety features and easy-to-use technology, all at a value.
Chevrolet is Richard Childress Racing’s longest-standing partner and has been directly involved in each of the racing organization’s more than 200 victories and 16 championships. In addition, RCR has been a part of many of Chevrolet Racing’s historic, winning moments in NASCAR.
Dale Earnhardt gave Chevrolet its 300th NASCAR Cup Series win in the iconic No. 3 RCR Chevrolet at North Wilkesboro Speedway in 1986. RCR’s 100th NASCAR Cup Series win came at Talladega Superspeedway in October 2011 with Clint Bowyer driving a special Chevrolet paint scheme to celebrate Chevrolet’s Centennial Anniversary in the sport. RCR scored the first win for the Monte Carlo SS after its debut in the NASCAR Cup Series when Kevin Harvick won the 2007 Daytona 500, and the first win for the Camaro ZL1 in the NASCAR Cup Series was captured by Austin Dillon in the 2018 Daytona 500.
