  • “I have two memories that are my favorite. My first one was winning the NASCAR XFINITY Series race with Austin Dillon at Auto Club Speedway. We made a last lap pass after Kyle Busch blew a tire and a lot of other cars ran out of gas. We had just enough to pass for the lead right before the start/finish line. My other memory is making it to the second round of the Chase at Dover (International Speedway). We were kind of on the outside looking in but put together a whole race and made it to the next round.” - Andy Houston
  • “There was a race this year where I was the interim crew chief, and I got to call the shots during the race. We almost won the race. It was pretty cool.” - Danny Efland
  • “2016 was an exciting year for the No. 3 team. My favorite memories were definitely making the Chase and winning the two poles Austin (Dillon) got this year.” - Freddy Dmuchowski
  • “While we were in Phoenix during the west coast swing, I was in our hotel elevator and it stopped working. I was in there alone and my phone was almost dead. Luckily I had enough battery power to call the guys and they told the hotel manager who had to then call the fire department for help. Finally the elevator repair folks show up, this was after the better part of an hour, and started talking about how you could pop the door open manually with a screwdriver. So of course I all of the sudden hear, 'We’re coming, Gladman!' as the guys are running up to the second floor…I was stuck between the second and third floors. They popped the door open and realized I was on the third floor, not the second floor, so again I hear, 'Hang in there, buddy!' The guys finally get it open and I didn’t have much space crawl through but we made it work. Needless to say, I got free drinks that night!” - Kevin Gladman
  • “It was all about having a good year for this No. 62 team and making the inaugural XFINITY Series Chase. We were very competitive despite making a couple of mistakes. Our team is extremely proud to have raced competitively throughout the entire season. Making the Chase is my highlight to my season.” - Scott Honan
  • “It had to be the fall race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. We took a new RCR package to the track and ran top five all night long. It gives this team good hope when going into the 2017 season with our latest chassis.” - Barry 'B' Hoover
  • “I enjoyed the XFINITY Series race at Mid-Ohio when Andrew (Dickerson) and I got to basically co-crew chief the No. 2 Chevy. We were good. Like, really good the whole weekend. It didn’t matter what we did to that car, it was fast. Everything we did seemed to make it better. It’s true! We had a great chance of winning that race. Then it rained. It’s OK though, because we won the pole and knew we had the field by like a half second.” - Joel Keller
  • “For me, I think the highlight of our season and the positives I can take away is I am really proud of the fact that we improved the speed in our cars greatly throughout the year. We brought some new cars to the track, particularly towards the end of the season that showed speed and improvement so that’s what I am really looking forward to carrying on when the 2017 season starts back up.” - Luke Lambert
  • “We work with a guy that likes to use words like ‘extrapolate’ in meetings and in emails. There was one meeting this year where he kept saying all these words, so we all text each other and were fact checking him. When he texts us, spell check just says ‘no, I’m not even touching that’. It’s all in fun.” - Marty Houston
  • “It was really rewarding to see the progression of our new chassis. We unveiled it at Charlotte and it really looked promising for us especially towards the end of the season. Plus we made some additional innovations and we continued to perfect upon it so we are looking for a strong start to 2017.” - Darin Nestlerode
  • “The highlight of my season was going on the road with the 31 team. I had a lot to learn and a lot to get comfortable with especially working with Ryan. What I like about him is he knows what he wants. When you are working the first three or four weeks, everything feels like it is spinning really fast. I have done this kind of work a lot before, but I’ve been on the fabrication side. Now that I am moving over to the mechanical side, it’s like a new language. Now that I feel like I’ve got my footing, I am really looking forward to making things as good as we can possibly make them so that we can contend for wins and another championship.” - Ryan Russell
  • “I think the best part of 2016 for me was the pride I felt seeing our Pit Stops for Hope organization represented out on the track competing on a national stage at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May. Most importantly, it helped us get the message out there to raise awareness for child poverty.” - Ray Wright
  • “I think the highlight of my season was towards the end of the year when we started unveiling new cars and we started running a lot more competitively. Charlotte and debuting a new clip especially stands out to me. It has given me a lot of promise and I feel good about our chances next season with what all we started accomplishing near the end of 2016. We are moving in the right direction.” - Blake Zobrist
