Where is RCR located?

Our address is 425 Industrial Drive, Welcome, NC 27374

RCR’s campus, which includes race shops, museum and team store, is located in Welcome, North Carolina, approximately 10 minutes south of Winston Salem and one hour north of Charlotte.

Directions from North:

• Take Interstate 40 to EXIT 193 (NC-8 S/US-52 S) (193A from the West; 193B from the East).
• Merge onto NC-8 S/US-52 S toward Lexington.
• Take the NC-8/Old US-52 exit (EXIT 97). You will see the RCR Museum highway sign before reaching the exit.
• Turn RIGHT onto NC-8/Old US-52.
• Travel most of the way through Welcome, then turn left on Industrial Drive at the RCR sign on your left.
• Cross the railroad tracks and the RCR Museum will be directly in front of you. Industrial Drive turns to the left in front of the museum, then right at the end of the museum. The NASCAR Cup Shop is approximately 100 yards down on your left.

Directions from South:

• Take I-85 North until you reach the I-85-BR/US-29/US-52/US-70 exit (EXIT 87) toward Lexington/High Point/Winston-Salem.
• Merge onto I-85 BR N/I-85 BL N.
• Stay straight to go onto US-52 N.
• Take the NC-8 S exit toward WELCOME (EXIT 92).
• Turn RIGHT onto NC-8/OLD US-52.
• Turn RIGHT on Industrial Drive at the RCR sign on your right.
• Cross the railroad tracks and the RCR Museum will be directly in front of you. Industrial Drive turns to the left in front of the museum, then right at the end of the museum. The NASCAR Cup Shop is approximately 100 yards down on your left.

When can I come visit the race shop?

Our Cup and Xfinity shop is open to the public with specially-designated viewing areas. These areas are open Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

What can I see when I visit the race shop?

Our shop offers a large fan walk that overlooks the transporter bay and Cup shop floor, giving guests a bird’s eye view of car assembly and other race preparation activities. Photography is permitted on the fan walk. Our Xfinity shop offers a smaller viewing area from the fan walk that overlooks the Cup shop floor.

Can I purchase souvenirs and sheet metal when I visit?

The RCR Team Store  offers a large assortment of clothing, souvenirs and collectible items. Sheet metal may also be purchased here and is available on a limited basis. The Team Store is open Tuesday - Friday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Can I purchase RCR merchandise online?

Yes. RCR merchandise is available online 24 hours a day at rcrstore.com .

Do you have a museum on your campus?

The RCR Museum  is a 47,000 square foot facility that once served as home base for Richard Childress Racing and the No. 3 Goodwrench team. Visitors will have an eye-opening view into the history of RCR and our contributions to significant moments in NASCAR’s history. The RCR Museum and Team Store  are located in the same building.

*The last ticket will be sold at 4 p.m. to allow time for visitors to enjoy the exhibits.

Team Store hours:

Tuesday - Thursday: 10am-3pm

Saturday: 9am-2pm

Sunday - Monday: CLOSED

Is there an admission fee to enter the RCR Museum?

Admission fees for the RCR Museum are as follows:

$10 for Adults
$8 for Seniors (Age 55 and older)
$5 for Students (Age 7 - 18)
Free for Children (6 years and younger)

How do I request a showcar for an event I’m having?

Send us an email at [email protected] with a description of your event, date, time(s), location and all pertinent details.

Will RCR license my product?

Please download and complete a prospective licensee application here. Complete the application  in full, sign and return back to RCR along with your application fee and any additional documentation or samples. A licensing representative will contact you to discuss your application.

Can I drive for RCR?

We are not accepting driver applications at this time and don’t anticipate a need in the near future.

Will you sponsor me?

Unfortunately, RCR does not sponsor drivers or teams.

How do I get a hero card of an RCR driver?
