Practice and qualifying highlights from Saturday afternoon's Cup Series action at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Tyler Reddick laid down an electric lap in qualifying for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway — the fourth Busch Light Pole Award of his career and third of the 2022 campaign.

Reddick charged to the top of the leaderboard with a 29.252-second lap time at 184.603 mph, quickest in both Saturday afternoon sessions. A handful of playoff drivers will start alongside and behind the No. 8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet with Austin Cindric claiming the mirroring front-row spot. Cindric was just 0.05 seconds behind Reddick in the time trial and backed up his solid, top-five performance from practice.

William Byron (-0.092 seconds), Ryan Blaney (-0.102 seconds) and Joey Logano (-0.148 seconds) rounded out the top five.

By qualifying eighth, Harrison Burton matches his best starting position ever at a non-superspeedway and highest any track since the 2022 Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway.

Sunday’s race begins at 2:30 p.m. ET (NBC, NBC Sports App, PRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
