Randall Burnett is the crew chief of the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro for Richard Childress Racing with driver Kyle Busch. 2025 marks the pair's third year working together, and Burnett's ninth year at RCR.

Since first pairing together in 2023, the Burnett-Busch duo have earned three wins, 15 top-five and 27 top-10 finishes in in 72 races together. They qualified for the NASCAR Playoffs in 2023.

From 2022 through 2020, Burnett led RCR's No. 8 team and driver Tyler Reddick, guiding the young driver through his first year in the NASCAR Cup Series and building the team into a unit that consistently ran up front.

Together, Burnett and Reddick qualified for the NASCAR Playoffs twice (2022 and 2021) and earned three wins during their three years together in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Burnett was also paramount to Reddick's NASCAR Xfinity Series success at RCR. The pair won the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship together in 2019, collecting six wins in the process. The team was also incredibly consistent, racking up 24 top-five finishes in 33 races (average finish was 6.3 despite failing to finish three races). He also worked with Matt Tifft, Austin Dillon, Paul Menard, and Ben Kennedy in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at RCR.

In 2016, Burnett got hisfirst opportunity as a crew chief in the NASCAR Cup Series when he joined JTG Daugherty Racing and driver A.J. Allmendinger. He led the team to two top-five finishes and nine top-10 finishes, highlighted by a second-place finish at Martinsville Speedway.

Burnett started his NASCAR career with Chip Ganassi Racing. He spent 10 years with the Ganassi organization, serving as a data acquisition engineer, lead race engineer, 7-post analysis engineer and lead team engineer. In 2014, Burnett worked closely with Kyle Larson during his rookie season, assisting the team in securing eight top-five and 17 top-10 finishes. He played a key role in the team's victories in the 2010 Daytona 500 and Brickyard 400.
